START YOUR ADVENTURE HERE

The Collection is an interactive and immersive adventure game that will transport you to a bygone age of mystery and curses. You will become the main character in a quest that will lead you to hidden treasures that are not what they seem and the music of the night is just the beginning of the horror that awaits you.

Just as you were about to start your well deserved summer vacation, you receive a Notification of Death letter. Your distant grandfather has sadly passed away and he made YOU as his sole heir. As you arrive to the town of Parkchester to collect your inheritance, you realize that your grandfather was a man of many secrets.

All of grandfather’s belongings will be yours, he only has one wish: 
You need to finish his Collection.

Suddenly you find yourself in the middle of an unsolved old Victorian mystery. Following the footsteps of a Polish maid you embark on a journey, completing grandfather’s Collection, that piece by piece brings you closer to finding out the horrific truth.

Riches and rewards await, but the real question is:

“Do you dare to waltz in the pale moonlight?”

HOW TO START?

Pay the vendor at the Collection starting point 
or in participating store locations 
100L, 300 or 800L 
to receive your GAME PACKAGE.

Wear the HUD and it will attach on the top left corner of your screen.

ABOUT GAME PLAY

When you first wear your HUD you will see a backpack with icons. 
Once you collect enough clues you will get into the game.

The HUD makes use of the new “Experience Key” tool. This simply makes it so that you are required to give the HUD permission once to do things like teleport you, and attach objects to your avatar.

If the Experience Key fails, simply detach your HUD and then reattach it again. Make sure that you have given your HUD the following permissions:

Some locations do not allow the MadPea Experience Key and in those locations you will be asked for permissions for animation and attachments. Make sure to click OK to agree to them.

Before beginning the adventure, please note: 
The animations are designed for average sized human avatars. 
For fullest immersion, make sure you allow the region windlight to set the correct atmosphere for you. 
Also for the purposes of immersion, be sure to enable sounds.

Please understand that this game is 
a point-and-click adventure. 
Clicking on items will give you clues 
to advance in the game. 
So click click click on everything 
you find and think is relevant!

Please give the HUD and the game surroundings time to load. 
There is a lot going on! 
By going slow you get to absorb the story more and be aware of what you need instead of clicking randomly and bouncing into walls that haven’t rezzed yet.

Make sure to pay attention in nearby 
chat for instructions and clues/hints.

COLLECTION RULES

NO GRIEFING: 
The locations that you will be visiting are participating 
only in allowing the use of the area. 
The environments do not belong to MadPea Productions. 
Do not grief their other customers, visitors, members or residents. 
Do not break their posted rules.

GROUP TAG RECOMMENDED 
When you are hunting, we would really appreciate it if you 
wore the MadPea Group Tag.

NO LITTERING 
Unless otherwise instructed to do so, do not rez or lay any objects from your inventory on any of the locations you will visit in the game.

TEAM PLAY 
Is allowed and even recommended. 
Many of our players have made new friends or even found their partners during our games.

GAME TIME 
Will be set according to Second Life time, regardless of the player’s locale.

MALFUNCTIONS 
We are aware it is Second Life which has its own issues 
that we can not control, such as location logouts, reboots, or lagging 
and crashing. We have conducted several pre-game 
walkthroughs to make sure the hunt runs smoothly where it should, 
but we make no complete guarantees that there will be no issues during the hunt.

Should anything happen beyond our control that disrupts or halts the hunt, 
we will announce it in group notice at the first possible opportunity, 
providing further instructions relevant to the issue.

REFRAIN FROM BAD SPORTSMANSHIP 
Do not harass other players, do not instigate conflicts, and if you get stuck, 
no whining and complaining in group chat.

GROUP DIALOGUE IS ALLOWED 
You are allowed to communicate in group chat and help each other out. 
You are however NOT allowed to give out direct answers and slurls.

PRIZES 
Silver HUD owners will receive the 12 Silver prizes once they 
have completed the game successfully. 
Gold HUD owners will receive the 12 Silver prizes + 14 Gold 
prizes once they have completed the game successfully.

BANNED? 
MadPea is not responsible if you are or get yourself banned 
from a store/region and are not able to complete the hunt.

Please check the list of the participating stores before beginning 
to make sure this is not an issue. 
NOTE, some of the regions you are visitings are rated as ADULT.
